5 inches of new snow today. The conditions were much better than this weekend, we'll have to see how well this new snow holds up this week, there is still a lot of ice around. A few more trails opened today. Wedge was perfect today, hardly any ice and nice carvable snow. more snow is expected tomorrow, but its going to stay warm all week, 20's. No halfpipe or tubing.

Nice and Sunny today, but the wind was a factor and the lifts didnt open until 10:30. The Conditions are still hard and fast. Spillway did not run this afternoon because a motor was being replaced, I doubt it will be open tomorrow. The Superquad was running half speed today. Snowmaking shut down this afternoon. no halfpipe or tubing this weekend.

Its hard to believe its January with all the warm temps. It was sunny today and all lifts were open for the first time in a long time. The Conditions today were packed powder. King Pine was perfect this morning, Haulback, Widowmaker, Flume and Ramdown were all corduroy this morning. Whiffletree was corduroy but it was a little firm underneath. Sluice and Lower Gondi were good. As Usual the worst trail i skied today was a trail that had recent snowmaking, Hayburner was ok, but was a bit firm and styrofoamy. Looks like we could get a few inches of snow tonight

The conditions today were definetly not great, but its ok out there. we got a few inches of snow today, so it was dust on crust and ice in places. Timberline was closed because of wind and the Superquad was having mechanical issues today. Tomorrow should be a great day, its supposed to be sunny with temps in the 20's

You would think with the weather we have had the past few days the skiing would be horrible, but the skiing is actually quite good. Upper Tote Road was horrible, the snowmakers made very wet snow and the trail was mostly ice. Lower Tote Road was ok. Kings Landing was very bad, it had very heavy and clumpy wet snow everywhere with very large ice patches. Hayburner was good, some ice but not bad. Narrow Gauge was closed for racing today. Spillway was quite granular and lower spillway was icy. Sluice was perfect, it was definetly the trail of the day. King Pine, Timberline, Spillway and Whiffletree were all closed today, but are expected to open tomorrow.

We were closed yesterday and today because of conditions and wind, but today turned out to be a great day, I found out this afternoon that Bobby Brown was fired. If you dont already know Bobby tried very hard to have this site shut down.

Basically the only trail open today was Tote Road, Scoot was also open but wasnt good. Upper Tote Road was horrible, very icy. I dont recommend anybody come skiing for a few days, its going to take a lot of work to for the conditions to get to bad. They were making snow today on Tote Road and Boardwalk. It was very windy today and is going to be even windier tomorrow, its possible the mtn will not open tomorrow.

Lots of rain today and wind. The Mountain closed at about 1:30 today. I went out for 2 runs today, Lower Gondi line was horrible, the snow was very soft and you sunk in deep, it was heavy and slightly crusty. Hayburner was quite firm but edgable.
day #56

Today would have been the perfect spring day if it was April, but its January. THe Conditions today were soft. Temps warmed up over the day. King Pine, Spillway and Timberline were on wind hold this morning and then King Pine and Spillway opened late in the morning. Haulback, Widowmaker and Ramdown were in great condition. Boomauger was groomed for the first time this year, it had good corduroy, but there are rocks sticking up and thin areas. The Superpipe was in great condition today. Sluice and Spillway were also in great condition. Narrow Gauge was closed for a race. Binder was the trail of the day.

What a day, fresh snow, warm and some sun. The day started off windy with Timberline and King Pine on wind hold, but they later opened. Spillway was still down for mechanical reasons but should reopen tomorrow. Conditions are now packed powder. That little bit of snow really helped a lot. Glancer and Windrow were in great condition, Haulback, Widowmaker and Ramdown were perfect today. The Superpipe is getting better.

What a surprise, I thought we were going to just have light flurries today, but it actually snowed quite hard, we ended up with 4-5 inches. The Snowmakers shut everything down except for the aerial jump. Spillway was closed today because a motor blew first thing in the morning, it should be open tomorrow. Looks like temps are on the rise but not too high, high 30's at most. The glades are starting to fill in, most are skiable, but you need to be really careful.

It may be a Saturday, but it was definetly a great day. There was a ton of people out skiing today but the conditions held up quite well. It was quite cold but the sun was out. Kings Landing was great 1st thing. Windrow was the trail of the day and I skied West Mountain, the snowmakers did a great job with that trail, there was a lot of people skiing over there. The Halpipe needs a lot of work, it wasnt too smooth today. I skied PipeCleaner, it was quite good. Snowmaking today on Upper Gauge, Gondi Line, Haulback and west Mountain.

Another Great day. We got maybe 1-3 inches of snow today and it was just enough to stick to the ice to make the conditions a little better. Windrow was in great condition today, but for some reason lower windrow has yet to open, I would really hate to own a Timbers which is supposed to be ski in ski out. Glancer has been left natural, no grooming, it was bumped up and hard underneath but was fun. Tote Road was in great condition as was Sluice and Ramdown. It was windy today so Timberline did not run. Snowmaking tonight on Haulback and Gondi Line.

What a great day. Another sunny windless warm day. We had a locals race today, the course was a little icy, but not bad. Not much snowmaking today, I hear the guns are shut down until Friday night.

Whata a great day, sunny, warm, no wind and the crowds left yesterday. The Groomers did a good job on some trails, Haulback in particular was perfect all morning. Widowmaker and Ramdown were hard and fast, it didnt seem that Flume got touched by a groomer, it was quite icy up top. Sluice was good from the recent snowmaking. Hayburner was quite hard but edgable. Tote Road was great up top, the lower part was hard with some sneaky small whales. Timberline needs some fresh snow.
Snowmaking today on Upper Tote Road and this morning on The Tube Park.
